Slagar The Cruel

Figured I'd do one more Redwall fanart before I started doing all the contest pictures and stuff on my to-do list. Currently reading Mattimeo, and decided to do some fanart.

This is the scene where Slagar starts his "performance." His cape does look rather shiny, but that is purposely, because in the book he used it to almost hypnotize onlookers. I figured the shine would help rather than looking dull.

Also tried out a fur texture, which worked quite well for this situation. Does it look good?

I am quite happy with this pic. Only improvement I can see is making his face more visible. But unfortunately the lighting sources I provided didn't quite allow that.
