I finally decided to stop using my old tablet because the torn/messed up grip on the pen was just becoming too much of a hassle to deal with. I'm now using a Wacom Bamboo I had as a backup. It's quite different from what I had before (Graphire4) so it's going to take some getting used to since the dimensions and texture are different. Old hand movements that would make curves I want won't work anymore since the drawing area is wider and matches to my monitor size now.

So yeah, it may be a bit premature, but since I'm having troubles with it so far, I thought I'd warn that my art quality might go down for a while. I'm not sure how much drawing it will to take to get used to it.

Why not just invest in an intuous pro? If you're going to do a lot of drawing, it makes sense to buy something good.
