I am quite proud of this one.
Did this for art class as a self-initiated art assignment. Decided to do something different for once, rather than anthropomorphic. 
Rock texture came from CG Textures, but I didn't use as much this time around. Various references were used for the wolf, but mostly to get the look of the howl correct and the flow of the fur proper. Didn't use any direct reference for this whatsoever.
I am not sure if inspirational music helped or not. Listened to U2 and Bon Jovi the entire time I did this, lol.
