Man, I haven't posted anything in a while, have I? This has been in the works for quite a while. I think I started sketching this around 3-4 weeks ago. This is my entry for Wacom's "Bring Your Vision to Life" contest. The theme is Good vs Evil.  Overall, I'm quite happy with how this has turned out. Not as happy as I feel I should be I think, but maybe it's because I've been staring at it off and on for a few weeks.  It was incredibly challenging to draw for me, from the poses, to the armor designs, to getting the weapons to look like they are being held properly...Hmm, I'm not sure what else to say. The picture is pretty straight forward. Inspired by Redwall of course. I hope you guys like it, and wish me luck in the contest! |

I understand what you mean about staring at your own work for long periods of time. Sometimes I feel happier about something that I've done much later than when it was finished, just because I haven't seen it in a while and the errors don't stick out.
