Temiree (Different Proportions)

Lately there's been some really amazing Redwall art popping up in different places. A few pro artists have done some recently, and while there's already some amazing artists doing Redwall-related art already, seeing what they could do, in styles I wasn't familiar with, really made me realize how much more I need to improve and practice. I need to get better at a lot of things.

I really want to take some online courses, like in character design for example, but unfortunately they're anywhere from $800-1000 and dropping that kind of money is out of the question right now. :S

Maybe one day, but for now I'll have to make due with teaching myself.

For this I drawing Tem with smaller eyes and a different face structure, just to see if I could get him to look more believable. I also tried doing some hardcore rendering with digital markers, just to see what would happen. I like how Tem himself came out, although the coloring didn't end up being worth the effort - I'd be better off doing rendering like this in Photoshop.
