Kelchan

A finished commission for Wanderingferret and his character Kelchan from his short story The Mark of a Coward. I really liked how the initial sketch for this turned out, enough so that I took some time to experiment.

I really loved the results of the experimentation, which was essentially just shading it like I would with a pencil. No serious shading or anything, but enough to help achieve volume and details that I couldn't otherwise.

Normally I would an inked it, but I liked it enough that I offered it to Wanderingferret instead, and he approved of it. I don't think my inking would have looked as good as this.

I think on my next round of commissions, I'll offer drawings in this style for $15, instead of inked for the same price. It's a lot more fun than inking, and I think it looks better too.
